Drawing the best out of others and the ministries that help people LIVE ON TARGET…in Love is the primary objective of the CBC Leadership Community.
Jesus told the story of a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one, he gave five talents of money, to another, two talents and another, one talent each according to his ability. The leadership lesson is this: With every assignment we are entrusted, comes the responsibility to act according to our ability. If God has given you the spiritual gift of leadership, then Paul reminds us to lead with all diligence, according to the measure of faith (capability) God has given you. At whatever level of leadership you have been granted, God wants to use you to impact the lives of those he has placed around you. The Leadership Link Ministry is dedicated to helping you reach your full God given potential and help people LIVE ON TARGET…in Love.
One of the best ways you can use your leadership ability is to become a Life Group Leader. Life Groups are the number one way to achieve the vision and mission of CBC.
Here’s how you can tell if you have the kind of leadership ability needed to be a Life Group leader. If you ask 2 or 3 couples or individuals over your home for dinner and they gladly accept your invitation, you have enough leadership moxie to become a Life Group Leader. If you can do that we suggest you do two things right away. First contact Ranai Jones our Community Life Director at ranai@cbclodi.org so she can set up a time when you can meet to cover the basics of Life Group leadership with you. Second, subscribe to our CBC Leadership Brief. You’ll find that link on the bottom right corner of our home page. That is you life line to our larger leadership community. You’ll be made aware of special news and events related to ministry leadership on a weekly basis.
Once that’s done you’ll be on your way to helping people LIVE ON TARGET…in Love and see lives transformed for Jesus.
